- Do older guests need to download an app?
- No. Guests just open their phone camera, scan the QR code, and tap the link. The recording happens in the browser — no app, no account, no setup.
- What if our venue has poor Wi-Fi?
- Recordings work over cellular data. The cleanup and transcription run on our servers after the file uploads, so a slow connection doesn't affect quality — only how quickly the upload completes.
- How long do we keep our recordings?
- Standard: 90 days of dashboard access. Premium and Heirloom: lifetime dashboard access. You can download a full ZIP of every recording (cleaned audio + transcripts) at any time on any tier.
- What if a recording is too loud or muffled to clean up?
- We tell the guest before they hit submit. If the room is too noisy for our cleanup to do its job, the recorder shows a gentle warning so the guest can step somewhere quieter. That's the Crystal Clear Guarantee.
- Can we get a refund?
- Yes. Fourteen-day money-back from the date of purchase. And if your event date arrives and neither you nor your guests have used VoiceMark, we refund in full within 24 hours of the event. Email hello@getvoicemark.com.
- Where is our audio stored, and who can hear it?
- Cleanup runs in the EU and auto-deletes within 7 days (we delete sooner via API). The cleaned files and transcripts live in private storage on Supabase (US-East), accessible only to you through your dashboard. Full detail in our privacy policy.
